Kawhi Leonard is diligently working on his recovery from an injury he incurred several months ago. The star of the Los Angeles Clippers is projected to have limited involvement in the training camp for the upcoming season. This challenge is particularly tough for him, especially with the loss of Paul George, who has signed with the Philadelphia 76ers this offseason.

While fans are understandably worried about the implications of George’s exit, Leonard is remaining hopeful about his capacity to adjust. At the Clippers’ media day, he expressed clear sentiments regarding the absence of his teammate.

“He obviously made things easier on the court for players, but as far as my mental focus going into the game, I don’t feel like it’s going to be harder for me personally. I didn’t look at, for anybody I’m on the court with; I don’t look at him to be my savior,” Leonard remarked.

“I take in my own role and the challenges that I have to face every game and go in there and try to dominate the game,” he continued.
