The iconic partnership of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, celebrated as the “Splash Brothers,” has brought four NBA championships to the Golden State Warriors, including consecutive titles in 2017 and 2018. Yet, following Thompson’s move to the Dallas Mavericks this offseason, Curry now shoulders the responsibility of leading the team on his own.

Even without his longtime teammate, Curry has maintained the Warriors’ competitive edge, helping them secure the second spot in the Western Conference standings. In a recent conversation with NBC Sports Bay Area’s Dubs Talk, Curry expressed his desire to secure five more NBA championships to enhance his legacy.

Stephen Curry Embraces His Love for the Game in His 17th NBA Season

At 36 years old and in the midst of his 17th season in the NBA, Stephen Curry continues to be the face of the Warriors. His enthusiasm for basketball remains as vibrant as when he first joined the league.

I still love to play the game. I still love to come to work every day. Basketball is still fun for me. The challenge of trying to figure out how to win on a nightly basis, I still get up for it,” Curry stated.

Curry is demonstrating that age is merely a number this season with his impressive athleticism. He has contributed to a surge in viewership, currently averaging 23 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game.
